What? 
For floors that need to be liquid-tight, safe and antiskid, such as in the garage, the cellar and the workroom or hobby room, SIDEC has the special antiskid floor; a mechanically strong floor finish on the basis of coloured quartz and a high-quality, transparent and solvent-free epoxy binding agent in which fine, coloured gravel grains are processed. This prevents oil, water and the like from penetrating your floor (cement, concrete, joints,…) while at the same time conferring antiskid properties to the floor, thus preventing skidding. These floors, too, are seamless and have great compression strength. They are wear-resistant and they withstand chemicals, oils, greases and lubricants. An antiskid floor is particularly maintenance-friendly; a single cleaning with the high-pressure cleaner and that’s that.

Antiskid floors are used primarily in production halls and stacking warehouses with intense fork-lift truck traffic and in companies where large volumes of fats, minerals or waste products are released as part of food processing, such as fish mines, slaughterhouses and the like where safety and/or hygiene is important.
- KITCHENS
The antiskid floor has been developed specifically for use in kitchens and storerooms. The antiskid floor can be finished with rounded skirting boards, thus avoiding unhygienic fillet welds and allowing for faster, more efficient and more hygienic kitchen cleaning.
